007 First Light reaches 4 million copies sold

IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the HITMAN franchise, and Amazon MGM Studios are thrilled to announce that 007 First Light has reached 4 million units sold within its first three months of release, making it one of 2026's fastest-selling games. 007 First Light is available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, on Amazon.com, on PC, on Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as at key retailers.

The achievement of 4 million units sold in the first three months reflects overwhelming global enthusiasm for 007 First Light. The game's exceptional critical and commercial performance across all platforms, with the launch on Nintendo Switch 2 to come later in 2026, demonstrates the franchise's enduring appeal and the positive reception towards the studio's ambitious vision to deliver a premium, original Bond experience worldwide. Year One Content Roadmap
IO Interactive is committed to expanding 007 First Light throughout Year One with a comprehensive content roadmap that includes regular Tactical Simulation updates featuring new challenges across some of the game’s iconic locations, including Kensington's Workshop, Slovakia's mountain slopes, Mauritania's black market, and Vietnam's luxury resort, The Pearl. Players will uncover new intelligence surrounding Webb Industries and investigate an unknown piece of technology that could become one of Bond's deadliest opponents. Following events in Mauritania, an unexpected alliance between MI6 and Pirate King Bawma will require Bond's personal involvement in a sensitive mission. Throughout the Year One, players can expect regular TacSim updates with gadget upgrades, new weapons, leaderboard challenges, cosmetics, and additional gameplay scenarios, with New Game+ also being explored to enhance campaign replayability.
