007 First Light Switch 2 Date Confirmed

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – October 14th, 2026 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the HITMAN franchise, and Amazon MGM Studios are pleased to confirm that 007 First Light will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18th, 2027, alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer showing Bond's re-imagined origin story running on the platform. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version are open now on the Nintendo Store, on Amazon.com, and at selected retailers.

Since announcing additional development time to ensure the quality of experience players expect, IO Interactive has brought hands-on builds of 007 First Light to both gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, where players and press had their first opportunity to experience Bond's world running on Nintendo's hardware. Player response from both events has been positive, reflecting the progress being made across the game as development continues toward launch. The development team will use the coming months to continue refining the game's optimisation and performance on Nintendo Switch 2, ensuring it meets the standard players expect at launch.

The 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order now for $69.99, €69.99, £69.99 (SRP), giving players early access to the GoldenEye Suit upon launch. The Deluxe Edition also includes access to the Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Dart Gun, and Gleaming Pen gadgets, alongside four additional outfits: the Day of the Dead, the Desert Explorer, the Silent Anchor, and the Gentleman Operator. Additionally, 007 First Light - Special Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 is also available exclusively via Amazon.com, giving players access to the Classic Tuxedo.
