HITMAN World of Assassination launches on iPhone and iPad Today

IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher, is bringing the full HITMAN World of Assassination experience to iPhone and iPad, launching today, on August 26. Players can step into Agent 47’s polished shoes and take on missions across all 25 locations in HITMAN World of Assassination, from the palm of their hand. In addition to iPhone and iPad, HITMAN World of Assassination will also launch across the Apple silicon Mac lineup later this year, with the exact date to be confirmed shortly. 

This mobile release brings the complete HITMAN sandbox experience to iPhone and iPad, with every location and mission available at launch. Whether you're blending in at a fashion show in Paris, sabotaging a secret lab in Sapienza, or infiltrating a high-end party in Dubai, all of HITMAN’s signature freedom and creative stealth gameplay is fully intact. The ICA Facility training mission will be available for free as well as the Sebastian Principle Escalation in Dubai, allowing players to try HITMAN WOA on iPhone and iPad before choosing to go on their first assignments. 

IOI has designed an entirely touch control scheme built specifically for iPhone and iPad. This includes context-sensitive buttons that dynamically adapt to your surroundings. HITMAN World of Assassination benefits from MetalFX to provide a high-quality graphical port of Agent 47’s missions on iPhone and iPad. Additionally, the touch controls are smart, flexible, and entirely new. For those who prefer physical controls, HITMAN World of Assassination for iPhone and iPad supports all compatible third-party controllers, offering another way to experience HITMAN’s deep and rewarding gameplay on the go.

The Freelancer mode will be added to the iPhone and iPad version of HITMAN World of Assassination, as part of an update scheduled for later this year.
 
HITMAN World of Assassination will be compatible at launch with the following devices: iPhone 16 models; iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max; iPad Pro and iPad Air (M1 chip or later); iPad mini (A17 Pro).

HITMAN World of Assassination as a full game is available* for iPhone and iPad at $69.99, €69.99, and £69.99. For mobile-first players who enjoy experiencing Hitman on the go, each of the game’s 24 locations are available individually for $2.99, offering a more bite-sized way to play in any location, for $2.99, €2.99, £2.99 per location. To help players start their missions in style, launching HITMAN World on Assassination on iPhone and iPad will unlock the Black Turtle Streak Suit. 

In the meantime, the Season of the High-Stakes is running strong in HITMAN World of Assassination. Le Chiffre Elusive Target is back just in time for new players wishing to take on this high-stakes mission, playable from today to the 14th of September. It will be the first Elusive Target playable on iPhone and iPad, allowing players to take on the fan-favourite villain from the 2006 film ‘Casino Royale’. With more Challenges, Elusive Targets, Feature Contract, Twitch Drops, to come during the coming weeks, there’s plenty more of HITMAN to play in the coming months.
