Snoop Dogg joins the World of Assassination on August 27th

IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind, among others, the internationally acclaimed HITMAN franchise and the recently released 007 First Light, has just announced an exciting new Elusive Target mission in HITMAN World of Assassination. The new Elusive Target mission, featuring the likeness and voiceover work from rap legend, multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Snoop Dogg is playable from August 27th until September 26th, 2026, for free in game and via the Free Demo, on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch™*, Nintendo Switch™2*, iPhone, iPad, and the Apple silicon Mac.

In this latest mission, Agent 47 sets his sights on Dr. Cyrus Cane, an eccentric entrepreneur famed the world over for his wide-ranging and unconventional business ventures. His newest venture, Morsizzles, a cookie product gearing up for a worldwide launch, is poised to earn millions as buzz over its addictive taste spreads rapidly through social media and investment circles alike. However, beneath the hype lies a darker truth: an investigation has surfaced evidence of cover-ups linked to several deaths during internal product testing. To stop the launch and fulfil the contract, Dr. Cane must be permanently removed as the face of Morsizzles, and the product must disappear. Cyrus Cane is throwing a lavish pre-launch celebration at his home on Haven Island, drawing a guest list of food industry insiders, investors, and influencers eager to get a taste of what's next. The perfect set-up for Agent 47 to mingle with the crowd and prepare his next move. To play the Elusive Target mission featuring The Herbalist, players need to have access to Haven Island location.
The mission delivers a brand-new character and an all-new storyline set on Haven Island, marking Snoop Dogg's debut in the World of Assassination. The rap icon lends both his likeness and voice to the mission, bringing his unmistakable presence and personality to Agent 47's world in a way only Snoop Dogg can, as the Morsizzles ad attests. Joining him is his son, Cordell C. Broadus, who also brings his own likeness and voiceover work to the mission, marking a joint appearance for the father-son duo within a video game. Cordell appears in-game as a guest enjoying the party, giving players the chance to find both father and son as they make their mark on Haven Island together.

Season of the Herbalist – Live Updates, Free for HITMAN WOA Players  

A brand-new roadmap kicks off today, bringing fresh and returning content for players to enjoy: two new challenges, new Featured Contracts batches, two new and two returning Twitch Drops, and the return of Elusive Targets including The Undying Returns, alongside IOI Account Rewards, a complete slate of assignments for Agent 47 to take on. 
Among the new challenges, "Bloom Where You Are Planted" sends players back to Ambrose Island to help a young student "blossom" in their field, earning a highly coveted silenced pistol, while "Fortune Favors the Bald" takes Agent 47 to the GAMA Private Hospital in Hokkaido for a challenge shrouded in. 
Meanwhile, the new Twitch Drops offer up The Purple Streak Proximity Explosive, a modular device finished in a striking shade of violet and detonated by proximity, best placed with caution as it's highly suspicious if noticed, alongside Green Grapes, seedless fruit that, despite usually being good for your health, will cause anyone who steps on them to slip and fall.

The Herbalist Pack, a brand new DLC pack themed after the latest Elusive Target, will also be available, starting August 27th and on all platforms**.  Including both The Visionary Arcade contract and The Herbalist Assignment including 16 challenges, the Herbalist Pack brings even more playable content, making Snoop Dogg’s introduction to the World of Assassination that more special:
