The HITMAN Free Starter Pack becomes the HITMAN WOA Free Demo

We are making a naming update of the HITMAN Free Starter Pack to better reflect what new players can expect when jumping into HITMAN with this entry. As such, the HITMAN Free Starter Pack is being renamed to the HITMAN WOA Free Demo. This change is purely about clarity, and nothing about the content is changing. 

The HITMAN WOA Free Demo continues to offer the same experience, including full access to the ICA Training Facility, featuring the Prologue missions that introduce Agent 47, core mechanics, and the foundations of World of Assassination gameplay. The Free Starter Pack features the Sebastian Principle Escalation, a set of three tutorial missions taking place in the Dubai location. Players will also continue to have access to rotating live content, giving them the opportunity to experience selected missions and contracts over time. The HITMAN WOA Free Demo will also give access to Celebrity Elusive Targets when they are active, such as the upcoming mission featuring Milla Jovovich, set to release later in February. 

Over time, we’ve seen that the term “Starter Pack” could create uncertainty about what’s included. Renaming it to Free Demo makes it clearer that this is a free way to try HITMAN, experience its systems firsthand, and take part in limited-time events.
