IMPROVEMENTS

Holy Tunes
To expand the discography of our beloved Agent 47 you can now enjoy a new track inspired by one of his most decorated targets known for dropping the beat.

Licensed Audio

We have updated the Licensed Audio option that, when enabled, swaps copyrighted music in various locations (including the Safehouse) with royalty free versions.

A Blast From The Past
A highly requested community feature now finds its way into HITMAN World of Assassination: There is now an option to change what music you hear on the main menu. You can choose between HITMAN 3 (2021), HITMAN 2 (2018), and HITMAN (2016) – all composed by Niels Bye Nielsen.

Speedrun Winner Poster
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of HITMAN a Creator Speedrunning competition was held, which – after qualifying for the final matchup versus fellow content creator Atrioc – lukedotpng won by displaying accuracy and efficiency. Besides the glory and bragging rights, we are grateful to award lukedotpng with a dedicated poster for every HITMAN WOA player to use in the Freelancer safehouse. As well as this, we have also added a painting highlighting one of the most iconic moment in the history of HITMAN made by the talented Johannie Lacaille.

It Just Keeps Getting Better
We have added the ability to select “Medium” and High” Texture Quality on MacOS with supported hardware.

SteamVR Launch Option
We have added a launch option to the Steam version of the game that allows you to load directly into VR mode with SteamVR. This also means that the game can now be launched directly from SteamVR Home.

The Quinn Quandary

We have “robustified” the concept of Tim Quinn. Though he was previously Quantum Leap’s CEO, he himself is not a fourth dimensional being. His cameo appearances now match his picture found in Colorado’s Tornado Shelter. The (coincidental) imposter attending the party in Mendoza is in the process of being dealt with…

BUG FIXES

As always, many of the fixes below were resolved thanks to reports made by the community. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who continues to report issues they run into, stay vigilant!

Besides adding, crafting, and creating some new content we are also happy ship another patch filled with fixes stemming from the hardworking fingertips of our dedicated developers here at IOI.
