The latest Elusive Target mission stars one of the most recognizable figures ever: Snoop Dogg.

The legendary rapper steps into the role of Dr. Cyrus Cane, an eccentric cannabis farmer and edibles entrepreneur who has transformed Haven Island into the hub of his very own high-tech cannabis empire. With a new edible product almost ready to hit the market, Cane has invited a collection of VIP guests to his mansion for an exclusive party, giving Agent 47 the perfect opportunity to infiltrate his inner circle and take him down.

In addition to the new Elusive Target, we will also welcome two themed DLC packs, a new roadmap with new challenges, Celebrity ETs returning to WOA, IOI Account rewards, Twitch Drops and more.

The ability to experience Elusive Targets with more freedom has been one of the most requested features from the community. Based on that we made some adjustments to the established Elusive Target DLC pack formula to make Elusive Target content more player-friendly while creating a more substantial premium offering going forward. 

That means that Celebrity ET DLC packs will now come with additional cosmetics and items as well as a new mission format called Special Assignments. These will offer players the ability to save at any given time, be playable offline and come with custom challenges on top of the basic challenges like, for example, The Classics. 

Going forward, whenever an Elusive Target releases or returns, its respective DLC Pack will include both an Elusive Target Arcade contract and a Special Assignment. Players who already own the DLC Pack will automatically receive the corresponding Special Assignment at the beginning of the rerun period at no additional cost.

Special Assignments will additionally replace the Arcade version of the mission in the Free Demo of HITMAN World of Assassination. 

The Herbalist will be the first Elusive Target to receive a Special Assignment, followed by The Undying during its respective return later in the roadmap.

Here is how the three Celebrity Elusive Target mission formats differ:

Elusive Target: Available for a limited time with a “one chance to kill” limitation, giving players one opportunity to complete the mission during its respective run period.

Elusive Target Arcade: A permanently available version played under Elusive Target conditions with a Tier 2 level of Escalation for increased difficulty. Upon failure, progress resets and the contract enters a 30-minute cooldown before another attempt can be made.

Special Assignment: A permanently available, Campaign-style version of the mission coming with both - basic and new challenges tied to the specific mission. Players can additionally play the mission offline as well as save and load at any time, allowing to experiment with different disguises, routes and assassination opportunities.

The Herbalist August 27th - September 27th

In the new Elusive Target mission, Agent 47 is tasked with the elimination of Dr. Cyrus Cane, an entrepreneur and eccentric known for his diverse business ventures.

His latest “sidequest” is Morsizzles, a cookie product preparing for a worldwide launch. It’s projected to make millions for Dr. Cane, with words of its addictive taste spreading fast on social media - and in investment circles. Some investigation has found evidence of cover-ups of several deaths occurring during internal product tests, but the authorities have turned a blind eye.

Dr. Cane is hosting a glamorous pre-launch party for Morsizzles at his home on Haven Island. Invitees range from food industry experts to investors and influencers. Agent 47’s mission is to find a way in and remove Dr. Cane as the face of the product. Permanently.

With the Free Demo, players will have a chance to experience this new Celebrity Elusive Target through the “Herbalist Assignment” featuring Snoop Dogg as Dr. Cyrus Cane. During the run period it is not required to have Haven Island unlocked to access the Special Assignment.

Please note: To access the Elusive Target, it is required to have access to the Haven Island Location via either the HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion, HITMAN Deluxe Edition or HITMAN WOA Deluxe Pack DLC. 

Players who launch the Elusive Target will earn The Green G Fit: “A buttery-soft, patterned leather trench is paired with a comfortable two-piece set. It’s accessorized with matching green sneakers, sunglasses, and an 18-karat gold chain and medallion. Only big dogs need apply.”

The Dank Duck  August 27th 

A relaxed-looking rubber duck. When this proximity-activated device detects motion nearby, it emits a cloud of sedative gas, putting the target into a deep sleep.

Unlock method: Have IOI Account and play “The Herbalist” during its active period.
 

The See-No-Evil Duck  September 25th 

A rubber duck with an eyepatch. When this proximity-activated device detects motion nearby, it emits a flash of light that briefly blinds enemies.

Unlock method: Have IOI Account and play “The Undying”, “The Undying Returns (2026) ET, “The Undying Assignment” or “The Oroborous”.

Bloom Where You are Planted

Return to Ambrose Island and help a young student "blossom" in their field to be rewarded with a highly coveted silenced pistol.

Reward: ICA19 Spider Lily - A matte-black tactical pistol with crimson-accented grip. Custom slide. Low rate of fire with high damage.

Fortune Favors the Bold

The GAMA Private Hospital in Hokkaido is the perfect place to retreat into deep thought - exactly what you need for this challenge, "Fortune Favors the Bald"! Details are few and far between, so only real eggheads will manage to claim the reward. Feeling lucky, punk?

Reward: Lucky Coin - A golden coin bearing the images of a dragon and a carp, with a square center hole. Can be thrown or placed as a distraction.

The Purple Streak Proximity Explosive  August 27th - September 7th

A modular explosive device painted in a lovely shade of violet. Detonated by proximity. Exercise caution when placing. Highly suspicious if noticed.

The Purple Streak Baseball Bat  September 9th - October 22nd 

Hit a home run every time, with this elegant, mid-weight, purple, end-loaded baseball bat, for a fast swing and powerful impact. Certain to knock the crowd out dead.

The Green Grapes  September 25th - October 8th

Usually, fruit is good for your health. These seedless grapes, however, will cause anyone who stands on them to slip and fall.
