IMPROVEMENTS

Nintendo Cross-Progression is live!

Earlier this year, we rolled out Cross-Progression for HITMAN World of Assassination, which allows players to share e.g. their Player Level, Location Mastery, Achievements/Trophies, and more across multiple platforms. During the initial rollout, we unfortunately had to disable Cross-Progression for Nintendo accounts due to last-minute technical issues.

We’re delighted to announce that with the 3.260.1 update, Cross-Progression now supports Nintendo accounts - with a small caveat. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the following achievements may not automatically sync upon choosing your Nintendo Account as your Active Account, and will need to be re-earned to unlock:

  • The Creative Assassin
  • Top of the Class
  •  A New Profile
  • Tools of the Trade
  • Unseen Assassin
  •  Stylish Assassin
  • Bullet Train
  • Seven Figures
  • Hawkeye
  • In a League of Their Own
  • Never Knew What Hit Them
  • Silent Sniper

For a more detailed breakdown on how to enable Cross-Progression, and a step-by-step guide, please check out the initial rollout blog post on our dedicated support page.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are also very confident that our best agents in the field (that’s you!) will be able to re-earn the achievements/trophies in no time. We will leave you to prepare.

IMPROVEMENTS

Geary-Go-Round

We have combined the two Thematic Gear Walls in the Freelancer Safehouse back into one by adding the ability to scroll through the different “pages” of weapons.

In addition to this, a third page has been added, which will contain the Patient Zero Requiem DLC items.

The Elusive Range
We’ve added a new “Celebrity” category to the “Suits” menus. This contains all suits
acquired or used in Celebrity Elusive Targets.

Too Many Voices In My Head
We have implemented Subtitle Speaker Indicators into “The Reflection”. Now, when
Diana or Eminem are talking over the earpiece, their respective names will be shown if
you have that option enabled.

BUG FIXES

As always, many of the fixes below were resolved thanks to reports made by the
community. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who continues to report
issues they run into - stay vigilant!

FREELANCER

GAMEPLAY

Modern Alchemist
We fixed an issue where items found on Gear Walls could be duplicated if they were
equipped then dropped in quick succession.

LEVEL DESIGN

The Never-Ending Flame
We’ve fixed an issue with the hot tub cosmetic included in “The Drop Pack” where the
crackling sound of the torches could be still heard after switching to another cosmetic.

UI

Information Overload
We solved an issue where the walk speed indicator and vital info bar could overlap with
one another.

CHARACTER ART

Overdressed
We solved an issue where the Graffiti Hoody Suit and the Scrap Poncho Suit would clip
with the camera whenever players would open a Stash Crate.

ALL PLATFORMS

ENVIRONMENT ART

Dinner Etiquette
We fixed an issue in “Embrace of the Serpent” where a plate in the village bar could
appear on the floor.

A Bit of Polish
We’ve resolved various issues in “The Reflection” relating to floating props and clipping
geometry.

LOCALIZATION

Rosetta Stone
We added the localization of the Tournament Judge's outfit in The Infiltrator, which only
appeared in English.

CHARACTER ART

Cheap Fabric
We fixed an issue in “The Reflection” where Iris’ tie was using the incorrect texture.

He Was So Dapper, The Game Swooned!
We have fixed an issue in Chongqing, where putting on a facility analyst disguise could
sometimes (although rarely) cause a crash when standing in the rain. Additionally, in
VR, the disguise now correctly hides 47’s head and lower body.

LEVEL DESIGN

Echo Chamber
We solved an issue in the “The Reflection” where a guard located in the garage area
could sound echo-y when speaking to the morgue doctor.

Lunar Eclipse
We fixed an issue on the Isle of Sgàil where standing on a specific spot of the armory
roof would result in rendering issues of the map.

Stealth 101
We fixed an issue in Mendoza where 47 could use benches to blend in even if he had
illegal items visible on their back, which alerted nearby NPCs.

Doorman Davis
We solved an issue in Mendoza where players would be able to dump bodies through
the walls of the silos near the Gaucho sniper spot.

The Red Weed
We fixed an issue in Dubai where the vine leading from the Private Bar area was too
short to climb up to the balcony above.

Nothing To See Here
We fixed an issue in Dubai where pulling an NPC from the balustrade in the Penthouse
Reception area would count as a Body Hidden, despite landing in front of other NPCs.

Ready for Takeoff
We fixed an issue in Bangkok where a female NPC would magically float in the air.

Pick up the Pace!
We fixed an issue where guards could suspend their routine if they were “lured” to frisk
Agent 47 from outside the regular “frisk zone”.

Too Slow!
We solved an issue where picking up an inconspicuous device right when an NPC
would do so could lead to the item appearing back in Agent 47’s hand, duplicating it in
the process.

Wine Addict
We fixed an issue in “The Farewell” in Mendoza where a guard would teleport inside the
Grand Paladin room if an item was thrown inside and triggered the alarm.

Raisin Hell
We fixed an issue in Mendoza where NPCs could die if they bent over near stacked
containers of grapes.

Phantom Limb
We fixed an issue where yukata disguises and all yukata-wearing male NPCs had a part
of their left leg clip through the robe as they moved.

Blue 80. Hut. Stuck!
We fixed an issue in Ambrose Island where 47 could get stuck after climbing through a
window in one of the huts.

Failed Barista
We fixed an issue in Marrakesh where the coffee-drinking animation of some NPCs
would end prematurely and thus make it impossible to poison them.

Odd Job
We fixed an issue in Whittleton Creek where 47 was able to move a large painting found
in the Wilson Property.

Special Treatment
We fixed an issue in Level 3 of “The Aelwin Augment” where players would not be
awarded 5 stars if Finley was not pacified first.

We’ve Got You Covered
We have fixed various issues in “The Reflection” relating to missing or misaligned cover
spots around doors, corners, and various objects.

Tattletale
We’ve fixed an issue in “The Reflection” where you could be unfairly spotted subduing
the Doctor who reveals the “Face the Music” mission story.

Unintentional Karate Chop
We have resolved an issue in “The Reflection” where NPCs standing on the flat part of
the winter garden stairs could be regarded as standing on the sloped part. This would
cause a loud takedown to occur, even if the “Silent Attack” or “Subdue” prompt was
visible.

GAMEPLAY

Toxicus Instantus
We solved an issue in Colorado, for the Wicker Man challenge, where NPCs would not
die immediately if they were made sick beforehand.

About Face
We solved an issue where certain disguises throughout the game could change 47's
facial features when worn.

New and Improved (Once Again)
We fixed an issue where the MK II ducks were missing the pink "2" sticker.

Diplomatic Briefcase
We fixed an issue where the Golden Briefcase would not open during the frisk
animation.

Sisyphean Curse
We fixed an issue where NPCs would indefinitely try to pick up certain remote-activated
items (such as explosives or gas devices) if they were detonated inside a briefcase or
other container.

Boosted by Banana
We fixed an issue where if a guard slipped on a banana peel while approaching 47
performing a fake surrender, this could lead to 47 instantly teleporting next to the guard
and performing a melee takedown.

SOUND DESIGN

A Little Too Zen
We have fixed an issue in “The Reflection” where the doorway between the winter
garden and the hospital corridor would block sound as if it was a solid wall.

PC VR & PS VR2 FIXES

404 File Not Found
In Freelancer, we have fixed an issue where the item name and description of selected
items could sometimes disappear when viewing the contents of a stash or supplier.

Livin’ Like Lalo
We have fixed an issue where you could no longer dump bodies into manholes after
performing a save/load. While rare, this could also occur in the flat game.

Grip Training
We have improved closet interactions, making it easier to open them.

Mission Inaudible
We have fixed an issue in Dubai where the “How the Mighty Fall” mission story could
not be revealed.

Handled Correctly
We have fixed several issues whereby equipping certain disguises would result in 47’s
hands becoming disproportionate or his forearm becoming invisible.

iOS

Only the Minimum
As per the last patch, we’ve made improvements to the patching process so that only
new or changed data will be downloaded. This means players no longer need to re
download the entirety of changed files.

Not What I Ordered
We have fixed an issue where if the Supersampling Technique was set to “MetalFX
Temporal”, objects and surfaces on some maps could start “flickering”.
